To ensure that the migration process happens smoothly, you will need to update your iPad to the latest iOS version.

Please note that the latest iOS version might not always be at the top of the list, so please ensure that you are selecting the highest number.

• Once you have found that, from Settings - General, tap Software Update

• Your iPad will show you the latest iPadOS at the bottom of the list, so ensure you are selecting iPadOS 26 (if available to you)

• Tap Download and Install and follow the onscreen prompts

Once you have updated, you will receive the Migration prompt within 24 hours, we check the iPads Monday to - Friday so if you update on a Friday, you might not get the prompt until Monday, or Tuesday.
